Public works and Red 144

In town yesterday and ahead of National Gallery I spent some time looking at the various public statues on show especially taken with this to William Tyndale - in many ways an important part of a revolutionary democratic movement that has shaped the modern world
( part of a nice BBC documentary on what he and it meant here).

The statue is in SW1, Victoria Embankment Gardens.

A very significant figure

Later as I walked I saw this statue to the Korean War - often forgotten - it reminded me of the writer Robert Holles father of an old school friend John-  Robert served in the campaign.

An adventure often forgotten

Red 144

Has there been a more vibrant Red?  - the sunshine makes it positively Zing!
