tales from Margate

Well we had a few days in Margate and here are some recollections in no particular order - this based on the Turner Dickens Walk which took us from Margate to Broadstairs..

Oh yes and first we spent a  couple of hours in The Turner Contemporary Gallery ..

Partly funded by The EU  this Gallery is located near where J M Turner once lived
Animals and Us

The Gallery seemed popular and was running an exhibition that related to animals (Animals & Us) the exhibition included works from world class artists like Picasso and Warhol as well as the nearly (I suppose) obligatory Turner and Emin works.

A Stubbs and
A Picasso

A brooding presence
