Back from Manchester

We had a long w/e in Manchester first time visit - excited by the place and people - very different from London (not better or worse):

One of the spots that I'd been told to look at was Beetham Tower which is mixed use hotel (Hilton first 22 stories)  and accommodation which includes penthouse accommodation for the architect of the project Ian Simpson.

TheCloud23 bar is  great place for a drink (not surprisingly the bar is on the 23rd floor).

But here's a 1963 building that's been updated it was just near where we started a coach tour of the city from Arthur House in  Chorlton Street.
