Exercise 11 - create a blind drawing

Exercise here is to draw without 'looking down' seems you can get some interesting results particularly with portraiture.

Went for a plant as you don't really take the pencil off the paper in blind drawing so need something that has an 'outline' - here's the plant I chose.

It's Hello to the 'Aloe Vera' 

So I had a go (actually a few) at the outline - here's one from in the middle.

I like the speed and the fact that I got something to work with and can revisit and refine it to get it closer.

Si I did that and added colour - the approach is something I've learnt and would like to try with a portrait.
