Taking a walk (Bethnal Green Road)

Perhaps something I've got from being part of various walks around London (often 'curated by CityLit in one way or another) is to be more observant (more about the latest in Soho shortly) and so it was with a visit to Urban Angles after a stint at the Branding Museum..

My destination was espacio Gallery and Urban Angles (on until 12th august)  where one of my cohort to Photography exhibiting course was part of the collective show.

I have been to Bethnal Green Road before (with a Photography walking jaunt) about 3 years ago but this time I was off in a different direction..

Walking along the road a number of fine looking pubs and shops as well as the street market.

A real 'Star' of Bethnal Green Road'
This one's now a shop

I liked the shops that had something different to offer and the nostalgia of some.

Evocative front
Hopefully not potty mouthed

And a couple of images that yell out London Summer - phone box and a noisy flash (Lamborghini)  car (stopped by the police) .

Wired for sound (wireless)

If you've got a flash car expect attention

At the Gallery some nice things on show - much taken with the 3D work of Harvey and the architectural works by Jett Burns that reminded me of Patrick Caufield and Michael Craig Martin.

And inside downstairs
