Ha Ha don't know if the Blog has been missed too much but I'll recount vacation in Rhodes over the next few days..
Day 1 Travel
We actually flew from Gatwick Wednesday evening, Gatwick was looking better and it's clear that there's
some PR going on with respect to the investment in London Airports - it's easy to decry our airports but in fact they're not bad (more on that topic later).
 |
It's an exciting time even from Gatwick |
We didn't leave too late and the flight (Thomas Cook) was okay but the organisation for the onward journey was a shambles with the staff there not well prepared.
 |
You get an odd sense of peace |
The hotel (
Atrium Platinum) we stayed at though was immediately pleasing, a lovely large room with balcony, Tea and coffee making facilities a splendid bathroom and complimentary fruit and Wine. Staff very welcoming and a nice drink in the lively bar mad for a great start to the trip.

A big room with possibility of view into bathroom(?) |
